Slade Graves: Fine Artist, Prescott, Arizona
Much of the imagery and the engaging details and general feeling of Slade’s art are reminiscent of the Spanish-style shrines found in churches and missions of the American Southwest, where Graves lives. Her work displays an eclectic side that seems to be inspired by the artist’s faith in the universal spirit. Slade is a juried member of the National Association of Women Artists and since 1991 the recipient of numerous awards. Her work has been shown throughout the U.S. and Arizona and she is published in several art history books.
